Gala

Gala

The Gala has a yellow flesh, juicy, very firm and crispy to perfection. This fruit, attractive by its streaked colors and shape, has a smooth and fine skin, but resists bruises very well. It is a very nice apple to eat fresh. Introduced in orchards in 1965, the Gala variety comes from New Zealand. It is one of the most cultivated varieties around the world; its production is increasing in Quebec.
