Cortland

Cortland

Characterized by a very white flesh of an exceptional taste, the Cortland is ideal for cooking, especially for making pies. Plus, it's great to chew on and great for making awesome salads as it does not brown in the air. This variety is a cross between the Ben Davis and McIntosh varieties and was introduced in the orchards in 1915.
